More Patterson

Un... deux.. trois!

So now I'm a sucker for Patterson thrillers. Pure bliss. Big mental grin. Can't wait to go home and read and read and read some more. Can't wait for the long holiday vacation.

I finished reading Alex Cross's Trial today. True enough, Patterson's really the best in his field. And yes, I learned something new --- lynching. Not the GMA TV bubbly host. Lynching is extrajudicial punishment carried out by a mob, usually by hanging in order to intimidate, control, or otherwise manipulate a population of people, however large or small. Oh, so that's lynching. Similar to vigilantes in our country's wild, wild south, don't you think? Vividly brutal. But that's a normal ingredient in thrillers.

I can't wait to flip through the pages of Run for Your Life, another 2009 thriller. Gotta go!
