First Saturday of August

After our breakfast at Salcedo Market, we mutually agreed that it was indeed a lazy Saturday. Anything goes, whatever feels right, you get the picture. A walk-a-thon followed, just trailing down the steps of the corporate jungle. It was very strange walking in the CBD without people clad in corporate clothes.

Sedeño Underpass on a Saturday, around 11 a.m. The Sedeño Underpass crosses Paseo de Roxas from Sedeño Street to Ayala Triangle.

Ayala Triangle Gardens

Lonely park on a Saturday morning

It's a Saturday indeed.

One of the giant pots along Ayala Avenue

And we found ourselves in SM Megamall. No traffic at all.

I took this pic thoughtlessly while BF tried on new pants at Onèsimus. It must be the nice treasure chest box.

Lunch at Reyes Barbecue: grilled asparagus & pork wrap (Php 40 per stick) and java rice (Php 20) for yours truly and grilled pusit meal (Php 135) for BF

New dessert find: Picolè healthy ice pops in avocado milky flavor (Php 35).

This healthy sweet treat reminds me of Arce Dairy avocado ice cream. Yum.
